Ramine Kamrane
  • RAMINE KAMRANE is as sociologist and a philosopher. Born in Iran, he has lived in France since 1976. He currently teaches modern and contemporary Iranian history at the National Institute for Oriental Languages and Civilizations. He was a close collaborator of Iran’s liberal former Prime Minister, Shahpur Bakhtiar, exiled to France (where he was assassinated in 1991). In 1997 his book La fatwa contre Rushdie, une interprétation stratégique was published by Kimé.
