Christian Chavassieux

  • Born in 1960, Christian Chavassieux has published two earlier books with Phébus La vie volée de Martin Sourire (The Stolen Life of Martin Sourire) and L’affaire des vivants (An Affair of the Living), which won the 2015 Lettres-Frontières Prize, and which the novelist Alice Ferney described as a masterpiece. He lives and works near Roanne, his hometown.
