Laurent Joffrin

• The political reporter and former editor of Le Nouvel Observateur, Laurent Joffrin is also a hard-core history buff. He has written a number of works of non-fiction, with a particular focus on the Napoleonic period, as well as the Adventures of Donatien Lachance, Napoleon’s Detective series.
