In an undefined time and place, an autocratic government is mistreating a land and its inhabitants. Ecological disaster is making daily life more challenging. Two young men, Felix and Edgar, have just graduated. Although they come from wildly different social backgrounds, their friendship is a powerful bond. Seeking to learn about Felix’s roots, and fleeing a capital city offering no perspectives other than oppression, they go on the road in a country at war, taking all sorts of risks in the name of freedom and hope.
Two recent graduates, Edgar and Felix, one from a wealthy family, the other a penniless orphan, flee the capital of an autocratic country. They go on a mad, perilous journey through a country that has fallen prey to violence and suspicion, with friendship and hope as their only shields.
